HybridSens - Visualisation systems for information and data sensors
- Funding period: 2010 - 2012
- Participant organisations: 11
The objective of the cluster is to build up a competence and technology platform for the development, combination and marketing of innovative sensors and sensor products, sensor data collection, analysis and evaluation concepts. Visualisation systems for information and data sensors are increasingly coming to take a key position in the industry, since they supply the data and information required in every area of production.
The synergy effects achievable with sensor combinations enable data to be collected and evaluated more effectively, leading to improved product and process controls. In addition to cost savings they offer other additional benefits deriving from miniaturisation, the use of innovative materials, maintenance and energy optimisation and mobile applications. The focus is on the development of sensors for the domains of water, industrial automation/plastics, biogas/biomass/fermentation. Government support for the cooperation cluster came to an end in 2012.
